Ample empowers farmers by giving them the autonomy to set their own prices, and our integrated logistics system ensures hassle-free, timely transport. We charge a service fee of 5-15% per transaction and are forecasted to enable the sale of 260 tonnes of fresh produce by the end of the year. This is delicious, fresh food that would otherwise be sent to landfill or animal feed. While Ample is currently UK-based, food waste is a global challenge. The Ample Marketplace is highly scalable, ready to address this issue worldwide. In order to achieve this growth, Ample requires investment. This will include funding the resources to develop match-making technology to enhance timely sales of fresh surplus by actively matching produce to buyers. Ample launched publicly June 18th after a successful beta-testing period and is gaining traction both in terms of sales and in the press. We currently have 8 active sellers on the site with a further 8 sellers onboarded. Our 17 onboarded buyers cover food manufacturing, public and event catering, charities, restaurants and wholesalers.
