Baseline Survey for Tribals

Over the years ( 1954 -2023) we have seen that the tribal people in Sundarban Islands are gradually reducing because of hunger , lack of education and income generation avenues from the forest cover which has been reduced a lot . There are 15 islands out of 45 islands under India . 20 islands are coming under Tiger Reserve . The Problems ( Socio Economic problems inherent with dislocated islands ) makes the life of these venerable population miserable to face acute poverty. They do not have employment opportunity . Having traced the people we could plan for skill improvement in various sectors ( Agro, Animal Husbandry, Goat rearing , Pond fishery , Honey processing etc ) the income of tribal family may be increased provided some help /grant is given to the beneficiaries . We are working in this Deltaic zone since 1994 so we are confident to show an innovative road map through Base line survey . We have the capability to carry out this Base Line survey .
