To promote self-sustainability in our food systems and support farmer resilience, Nampya Farmers Market seeks to develop an innovative Save-to-Buy layaway model which will use a USSD code in enabling debt-free financing options for climate-resilient agri-products and services This solution will enable farmers to purchase quality agricultural inputs in small amounts and when ready for planting, we will deliver to their farms, thus providing them with a financial flexibility without the burden of credit. The USSD code will make our model seamless and quick to use. This model will prevent farmers from borrowing money to invest in farming. We ask for support towards building the layaway system.
