Project description
This project aims to provide comprehensive training and economic empowerment opportunities specifically designed for internally displaced women and other marginalized groups in the crisis-hit region of Northwest Cameroon. By equipping these women with essential skills and resources, we seek to foster resilience, enhance their livelihoods, and promote social inclusion. The project will have as objectives to: Skill Development: Offer vocational training programs tailored to market needs, including crafts, agriculture, and entrepreneurship; Economic Empowerment: Facilitate access to microfinance and resources to start small businesses, enabling women to achieve financial independence; Community Support Networks: Establish support groups and networks to encourage collaboration, mentorship, and information sharing among women; Advocacy and Awareness: Raise awareness about the challenges faced by IDP and marginalized women, promoting their rights and needs within the community.
