Black Earth is an award-winning interview podcast celebrating nature and visionary black women in the environmental movement. We create informed, inspiring, and authentic conversations on Earth care. We have received over 18,000 downloads from listeners in 140 countries.
Project description
Black Earth has reached a critical stage of its growth phase where the demand for our work globally outweighs the resources we have.
As an independent podcast, we are ready to partner with mission-aligned funders for the next phase of our growth. We are open to funding to deliver the following in 2025:
- An audio and video podcast series on the just transition
- An in-person event and podcast series celebrating black women leaders at the historic 30th anniversary of the UN climate change conference (COP30) in November 2025
- A book proposal based on Black Earth podcast
- Technical support to develop a sustainable social impact business model for Black Earth.
