Project aims
Historically nomadic families and now they are socially none touchable, they not like to go school because there is discrimination and social problems so to educate their children, plan to 30 schools.
Project description
A Community called Bagariya in Rajasthan, India, theft is their traditional occupation, now it is very difficult to theft because of police but still some people from the community have same occupation. But in last 25-30 years the community is no more nomadic and now they settled down. But local govt. and mainstream community didn't gave them legal land to habitate so they reside in common land. Due it and other many reason govt. have not built any school for them. And their children also not able to entered in Govt. school because other student irritate them by saying thieves, and mainstream community also have pressure on govt. teacher for not to give admission these children of Bagariya community. Because these may touch drinking water pot/tap, they may be play/touch other community children. so we plan to trained some teacher, make them ready to work for such deprived community and open a 3 hours school for these children. This will be run in a thatched roof room in the community set up.
