Surf Therapy CIC

Surf Therapy CIC uses surf therapy, blue space and environmental education to work with individuals to improve their physical and mental well-being. The Surf Therapy Programme works with HMP Parc, Swansea Probation, YOT and IOMU. Through an Ocean Therapy programme, the participants work with qualified surf coaches, professionals and volunteers from the community. The programme will benefit the individuals through the act of learning to surf, being in nature and developing an awareness of the environment. This leads to improved self-efficacy, self-image and a feeling of connectedness to the community and local environment.
