The program will commence with the identification and recruitment experienced farmers, agribusiness professionals and subject matter specialists who will serve as mentors. The selected candidates shall be provided with comprehensive training which covers effective mentoring techniques, curriculum development and youths engagement. For the mentorship program, 500 youths aged 18-35 from the region shall be selected for participation. A 6-month mentoring program which includes workshop, hands on training and one-on-one guidance on sustainable agriculture, agribusiness and food security will be delivered to them including other milestones such as facilitation of lands, agricultural Inputs and financial services for the youths led agricultural enterprises.
